Use 2/3 Pastry for the base and 1/3 Pastry for the top. Roll base to fit a 21cm Pie Dish. Place filling into the Pie Case. Roll Pastry to fit the Pie top, wet edges of the base, top with Pastry. Brush top lightly with Milk or Water. Sprinkle with Castor Sugar, Cinnamon, Poppy, Sesame or Caraway Seeds to suit contents and taste. Bake at 190°C (375°F) for 25-45 minutes depending on contents and Pastry type. |
